Happy Halloween!!!

 What do you get when you add Cobra from G.I. Joe, a Samurai Warrior, and Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ? Halloween at the Shupe house of course. My kids never coordinate their costumes, they always have an idea of what they want to be. It always turns out great though! 

 James looks pretty fierce in his Cobra costume!

 Carter is certainly ready for a battle! He's not messing around!

 And...Loreli as Dorothy is just adorable. She won't have a Toto with her (because ours is crazy) but at least we got the right shoes. Yes, she's six and the shoes were the biggest deal ever!

We went to 7 different shoe stores (not exaggerating!) and finally found the solution with her old church shoes and $3 worth of red glitter glue. Lucky for me it worked! There was some major drama at our house last night! But to be fair the shoes are important. After all...There's no place like home!

Toothless

Loreli lost her front tooth at school yesterday. She was so proud that her dad didn't pull it for her this time. She proudly announced last night that the tooth fairy could come on time this time because her room was nice and clean ;-) Life was pretty good this morning when she found her prize from the tooth fairy!

Grandpa Roly came to visit from Israel. We haven't seen him in a couple of years. It was great to visit with him! We have missed him.

 We laughed about this picture (with his dark glasses) because we have a picture of his dad that looks almost the same. Like father like son.

 I just loved this picture of Loreli with Scott. She sure loves her daddy!
