Monday was the first day of school and boy was it crazy. The kids are still on their summer schedule (mostly because the sun is still up late) and so getting up was a chore for all of us. James is going to a different school this year and is riding the bus for the first time. It was hard for me to let him get on it the first day, but its getting better. We got through the first week just fine though.
The bus stop is just around the corner from our house. Carter figured out that if his stands in the top part of the playground he can see James at the bus stop. So while the weather is nice he has been watching James come and go from the backyard. I thought that was pretty cool!!!
The star in the picture is to show you where James is. The sun was hitting in just the wrong place.

Oh sara! I can't imagine putting eva on the bus for the first time. Thankfully, that won't be happening this year at least. I bet James likes it though, and once you're more comfortable with the idea, I bet you'll like the convenience of it, too. Miss you lots.
