The boys were so proud to have their baby sister at the bus stop with them! They couldn't wait for me to leave so that they could show her the ropes without my
interference. Guess they will have to save their wisdom for tomorrow because I wasn't leaving until she was on the bus safely! I got a tiny bit emotional (but not until the kids were gone). It's funny because I didn't get that way when the boys went to school, but Loreli was a little harder to let go of. She was nervous this morning too, so I am sure that contributed to it. She is so excited to be at school all day! We are all in school this year (all 5 of us). It is going to be a test of endurance for all of us, but I think that we are going to make it :-)

Good luck with school for everyone--so exciting! You can totally do it!
As for the youngest going to school, I had the opposite experience. I cried all day when the first went to kindergarten. I waved merrily to our baby on his first day. But I think you are right: their feelings definitely help determine Mom's feelings!
