Christmas Morning the kids woke up to their presents from Santa. Santa brought us all slippers this year. The kids each got a watch, a book and a head lamp.

The dogs got toys instead (a hedgehog, a raccoon and a squeaky squirrel)
Yes...those are golf clubs in front of the tree ;) Kid sized golf clubs. This year we have a plan that when the kids fill up a little chart they get to go golfing with Scott. To fill up their chart they have to do good deeds or acts of service for each other. We are hoping that this will encourage them to be nice to each other more often.
Grandma Andrea spoiled them with a new Lego set. Carter and James got Ninjago vehicles and Loreli got a girly tree house Lego set. They have kept the kids busy all morning (the best present for mom and dad).
Loreli has been begging for her own guitar. I saw this at the store and knew it was for her.
Uncle Alex and Aunt Emilie sent the kids the first five books to the Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites on CD. When I was a kid we listened to the cassette tapes of the first book on our road trips so it will be fun to continue the tradition.
The dogs are just as bad as the kids, fighting over the toys. This is their typical tug-of-war ;)
Grandmas and Grandpa Shupe spoiled the kids too. James got a science lab kit.
Loreli got kits to make her own jewelry and also a gift card to go to Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Carter's favorite gift was (yet another) Ninjago. He is a little obsessed with them if you can't tell.
All in all it was a wonderful Christmas Celebration. Lots of food, friends and family. We couldn't ask for better! MERRY CHRISTMAS to all and to all a good night!
